Seattle job planning

Plan for the pickup.

Property access, material condition, building rules, weight, and the path to a safe loading position can matter as much as the item category.

01

Show the entire garage

Photograph each wall, workbench, loft, cabinet, and floor pile. A few close-ups can hide the real volume, so include wide views and identify everything that must remain.

02

Separate material before arrival

Keep paint, chemicals, fuels, batteries, pressurized containers, unknown substances, and suspected hazardous material out of the ordinary junk pile. Identify heavy or sharp items before provider review.

Crew and truck fit

Straight answers

Before you request.

Do I need to sort the garage first?

Separate anything that stays and identify material needing special review. If sorting help is part of the request, state that clearly so labor and capacity can be evaluated.

Can a garage cleanout take more than one load?

Yes. The real volume, material mix, access, and active provider capacity determine whether the project needs multiple loads or phases.

Can tools, chemicals, or paint be included?

Tools may be eligible depending on size and condition. Paint, chemicals, fuel, batteries, pressurized containers, and unknown substances require separate official guidance or specialist handling.
