Independent provider review

Coverage starts with a provider we can document.

JunkSEA does not turn on a ZIP because someone filled out an application. The business, authority, insurance, vehicle, service area, disposal practices, and operating capability must be reviewed before opportunity access is activated.

The activation checklist

What gets reviewed before opportunities.

The checklist verifies the applicant and the work it can accept. It does not turn an independent business into a JunkSEA employee or promise it a certain number of jobs.

01

Contact and identity

The network records the applicant’s real contact and the person responsible for the provider account.

02

Washington business registration

The operating business and its Washington registration details are reviewed instead of publishing an invented Seattle branch.

03

Carrier authority or exemption review

The provider’s Washington solid-waste carrier authority, or the documented reason an exemption applies, must be reviewed for the work it proposes to perform.

04

General liability insurance

Current proof of general liability coverage is reviewed against the provider and the proposed service scope.

05

Vehicle and usable capacity

Vehicles, payload, usable volume, equipment, and crew capability are documented so the network does not assign work from a city name alone.

06

Seattle service-area review

The provider supplies actual ZIP coverage. Those ZIPs control matching eligibility and when local pages can become eligible for search publication; a manual coordination status does not create provider coverage.

07

Disposal and recycling practices

The provider explains normal disposal, recycling, donation, restricted-material, and documentation practices for the services it accepts.

08

Background-screening eligibility

The applicant confirms who performs the work and whether required identity or background-screening steps can be completed before access is granted.

Washington authority

Review the actual work—not a blanket label.

Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission requirements can depend on the service and operating facts. JunkSEA records the provider’s authority or documented exemption review instead of assuming every applicant is cleared for every job. Review the current Washington UTC solid-waste carrier information.

What verified does—and does not—mean

A controlled starting point.

It means

Required records were reviewed

The provider cannot be activated until every required area has a verified record in the owner workflow.

It does not mean

Every job is automatically accepted

ZIP, materials, access, equipment, schedule, and usable capacity still need to fit each individual request.

It never creates

A fake JunkSEA location

Providers remain independent local businesses. JunkSEA does not publish a Seattle office, crew, review count, or vehicle it does not actually control.

For customers

Coverage follows approved capability.

The live checker uses the defined Puget Sound intake area, active provider ZIPs, service capability, and owner controls. A manual review result does not claim a provider is already available, and a submitted request is not an appointment until an eligible provider accepts and the customer confirms the provider and window.

For providers

Apply with the real operation.

Use the business, crew, vehicle, service area, and compliance details that actually belong to the applicant. Sensitive tax and payout records are requested only after initial review.
