Condition and acceptance come first.
A clean, complete, working item may have a reuse path that a damaged, wet, incomplete, recalled, contaminated, or pest-affected version does not. Describe the actual condition in the request.
Before labeling something “donation”

Advance JunkSEA review
Keep special items separate.
- Refrigerators, freezers, and cooling equipment
- Very heavy or oversized items
- Construction and demolition debris
- Hot tubs and built-in items
- Large quantities of dense material
- Items requiring disconnection or dismantling
Not accepted by JunkSEA
Use an appropriate official resource or specialist.
Do not submit these as ordinary junk or ask a provider to determine their destination onsite. The receiving program or qualified specialist controls acceptance and handling.
A practical order
Sort the decision before the load.
Do not combine questionable material into a general junk pile and expect the provider to solve it at arrival.
